Programs

The work, broken down.

Five programs, one mission. Each is staffed, measured, and accountable.

Program 01

Cross-State Forestry Coordination

Regular convenings of state foresters, land trusts, and private forestry practitioners across Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and New York.

Program 02

Invasive Species Monitoring

Shared data collection on emerald ash borer, hemlock woolly adelgid, beech leaf disease, and other pests that travel across state lines. Results available to members and agencies.

Program 03

Working Forest Support

Technical resources for family forest owners: management plan templates, conservation easement primers, and estate transfer guidance.

Program 04

Policy Briefings

Short briefings for state legislators and staff on forestry policy questions that affect the four-state region. Nonpartisan, data-based, no advocacy on partisan issues.
